The social media giant made a new feature available. The “Profile Embed” allows users to embed a miniature profile version of their Instagram profile into websites. This is a great opportunity especially for portfolios and blogs since nowadays one’s social media presence is an essential statement on its own.

The social media giant says the feature is currently only available in the U.S. Instagram head Adam Mosseri posted about the launch of the new feature on his announced the launch of the new feature on his Twitter account.

“You’ve been able to embed an Instagram photo or Instagram video into a website for many years now…This extends on that idea and allows you to embed a miniature version of your Instagram profile on a website. Maybe you want to showcase your Instagram content on a website somewhere or link to someone else’s,” Mosseri explained. “Profile Embed” will definitely add value to creators’ and especially artists’ media presence.

Additional features have been launched earlier this week. Instagram users can now reply to comments on posts with Reels with a feature called “Reels Visual Replies” feature. In the Reels, users can now see the button to create a video reply that will appear as a sticker.
